The Inter-Island Ferry Authority provides safe, reliable ferry service between Hollis and Ketchikan. Our small team works aboard our vessels, at our terminals, and behind the scenes to serve the residents, businesses, and visitors who depend on this essential transportation link.

With fewer than 40 employees, every person at the IFA plays an important role.

Our vessel crews support safe and dependable daily operations aboard the M/V Stikine and M/V Prince of Wales. Our terminal employees assist passengers, coordinate check-in and boarding, and help keep each sailing running smoothly. Our administrative, maintenance, and management teams provide the support needed to keep the entire system moving.
