From the bridge to the deck, from the deck to the terminal, our team keeps the Inter-Island Ferry Authority running every day; connecting communities, supporting travel, and making each trip possible.

Our vessel crew is responsible for the safe operation of every sailing. From navigating Southeast Alaska waters to loading vehicles and assisting passengers, they ensure each trip runs smoothly from departure to arrival.

Terminal staff are often the first and last people you see on your journey. They manage reservations, assist with check-in, coordinate boarding, and keep operations moving efficiently on both ends of the route.
